Windaba is South Africa's annual wind energy conference, held at the CTICC in Cape Town. Envision Energy, a global wind turbine manufacturer and session sponsor at the 2025 edition, needed photo and video coverage across their exhibition stand and sponsored panel session — stand activity, client meetings, the session itself, and a team portrait — plus a highlight reel for post-show use on their channels.

The Envision stand at Windaba is a clean, all-white build — bright and open, which makes for good light but requires careful exposure management to avoid blowing out the backlit logo panels. I moved between stand coverage and the sponsored session throughout the day, timing the session frames to catch speakers mid-point rather than mid-sentence, and working the stand during the floor's busy periods. Client interaction frames were shot candidly where possible — the handshake and conversation shots that read as genuine rather than posed. The team portrait was worked in at a quieter moment on the stand with the full back-wall branding in frame.
