Rugani brought a full brand activation to the Two Oceans Marathon Expo — two days, a purpose-built experiential stand, product sampling, prize mechanics, and a live presenter. They needed content that could move the same day: social reels from the floor while the event was still running, and a polished highlight video to close each day. I was on site as a solo operator handling both photo and video across both days — capturing the stand at volume, the brand interactions, and the energy of a busy expo floor, then turning edits around fast enough to be useful while the event was still live.

The Rugani stand was built for interaction — a large graffiti mural backdrop, iced product tubs, a sampling counter, prize activations, and a live MC. The brief required coverage at two levels: wide environment shots that read as a busy, well-branded activation, and tighter people moments that showed genuine engagement rather than staged poses. I moved between the two throughout each day, prioritising the moments where the branding and the crowd landed in the same frame. For video, I structured the reel edit around the energy arc of each day — setup to peak crowd — rather than a straight product showcase.
